SF Indiefest is a year-round, non-profit organization that has been operating since 1998. We present four annual festivals: the SF Independent Film Festival (SF Indie for short), the SF Documentary Festival (DocFest for short), the SF Independent Short Film Festival (IndieShorts) and Another Hole in the Head, our genre film festival. In the past they have presented the Northern California Action Sports Film Festival, the US edition of the touring shnit International Short Film Festival and numerous music festivals and one off parties and events.
In addition to the film programs, IndieFest is known for throwing some great parties, the annual Big Lebowski Party, an annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Power Ballad Sing A Long Party, an annual Super Bowl live sketch comedy show and many live music events. Recently IndieFest produced a play in conjunction with the Primitive Screwheads theater company called Much Ado About Lebowski, a series of art gallery events of Bad Art (and published a book of bad art) and is planning more theater, music, art and film events right this very moment!
In 2016 SF IndieFest became the fiscal sponsor of the 10 year old internet community radio station Radio Valencia.
