Join us as we celebrate NIAD’s good fortune: over 40 years of supporting artists with disabilities alongside our incredible creative community.

3:00pm Cumbia Cocktail Hour: live music by Cumbia Paradiso, crafty cocktails by Chani Hawthorne, Silent Auction browsing
*4:00pm Electric Live Event: Live Auction, Artist Performances + Presentations MC’d by Sister Tilda, tantalizing tacos by El Garage
6:00pm 8×8 Raffle Drawings, DJ Marc Pop, sweet treats

The outrageously benevolent Sister Tilda NexTime, of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence fame, will be MC’ing the event. Cumbia Paradiso will be the psychedelic soundtrack to our cocktail hour, leading up to our Live Auction, Artist Performances, and 8×8 Raffle Drawings. Food will be served up by Richmond institution El Garage. DJ Marc Pop from Escapism Crew will close out the night with afrofuturist funk, and all our lucky Win Win ticketholders will take home an original 6×6 by a NIAD artist (along with any other winnings)!
The Win Win Live Auction will feature work by renowned NIAD artists Marlon Mullen, Billy White, Dorian Reid and Sylvia Fragoso, with contemporary artists outside NIAD soon to be announced.
Our 8×8 Raffle includes highly collectable, small space-friendly works by NIAD fans like Cliff Hengst, Lisa Solomon, Lukaza Branfman-Verissimo, Fernanda Martinez, Poppy Dodge, and dozens more.
We call the event “Win Win” because all ticketholders get to take home at least one piece of fantastic art and support artists with disabilities. A Win Win ticket gets you a unique 6×6 artwork by a NIAD artist, the chance to enter a raffle for an 8×8 artwork by a non-NIAD artists, and the ability to bid on Live Auction works by contemporary artists from all over the map!
