For the fall exhibition season, Themes+Projects gallery partners with Gallery 16 to celebrate the enduring legacy of Bay Area art legend REX RAY. Featuring collages on canvas, resin panels, and pigment prints created between 2000 and 2014, the exhibition highlights Ray’s bold color juxtapositions, complex layering of textures and forms, and distinctive visual beauty.The exhibition marks a full-circle moment for Themes+Projects, returning to an artist we first exhibited during our formative Palo Alto era in 2002. Coinciding with Ray’s retrospective at the Monterey Museum of Art and the re-release of his book, We Are All Light, the exhibition offers an opportunity to revisit his work and rediscover his lasting contribution to Bay Area visual culture.Gallery Hours:Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 5pm
