The LIVE FREE USA “Archaeology of Silence” Speaker Series will continue with its second installment, “A Father’s Heart,” during Father’s Day weekend. The event will bring together men who have lost their children to state violence and amplify their national efforts to support the healing of other fathers experiencing similar trauma.
Inspired by acclaimed artist Kehinde Wiley’s new exhibit, this installment will include insightful panel discussions, musical performances and healing activities, in addition to interactive audience participation through live-streaming and real-time social media sharing.
In attendance will be Andrew Joseph Jr., father of Andrew Joseph III; Cephus “Uncle Bobby” Johnson, uncle of Oscar Grant; Kevin Tarver, father of Darius Tarver; Arbuey Wright, father of Daunte Wright.
